Summer Storms

We've had the most horrible, cold, rainy, snowy, wet, windy long, terrible spring this year! We haven't gone a single week still without a thunderstorm rolling through & its put a damper on my little spirit! FORTUNATELY ~ there have been some amazing storms with beautiful, multiple rainbows and bright orange, pink and purple skies/sunsets! My super cute little hanging baskets have been flourishing out of control with all the rain too!

I LOVE this picture of the rainstorm - this is looking out from our back patio & the rain was just unbelieveable! Tiny drops pouring straight down ~ no wind ~ just a DOWNPOUR! This was when the sky started turning orange-ish/pink and the rainbows started popping up!

This was the best shot I could get of the full rainbow, but just above this one was another FULL (slightly more faint) rainbow. It was so awesome!
The double rainbow went all the way from the north side of our house to the south side - I couldn't capture the whole thing in one frame from our house though.

Then the sunset! WOW! I could have stood outside the whole night & taken pictures. It was so amazing and so beautiful! Here's a few of them:
