Bragging about Shane

For those of you who don't know - Shane has been going to school since the end of August for a dairy herdsman program through Utah State University. He graduated high school in 1989/90 - and this is his first attempt back at school. Personally - I would be terrified after such a lapse --- and don't get me wrong, he was very nervous the first couple of weeks. "Would all the other kids like him", "would anyone play with him at recess", "Would he get picked last for dodgeball"....these are the questions that plagued him. So sad....
ANYWAY - he has a bunch of classes that I think are tremendously hard - Genetics.... MATH (which I've always hated) and of course the majority of them focus on dairy production or cows in one way or another. He is doing really well & found out at the end of last week that he's getting at least a B+ average overall in the program. His mid term grades were phenomenal & he has already taken & aced one of his finals! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I know he will be able to continue next semester just as successfully as he has done so far this year. He is getting more and more anxious to find the perfect job out there for what he has always wanted to do. We are all really proud of him & can't wait to see where life takes us next!!!
