~ The house that Shane & Jennifer built ~

After months & months of looking at houses all over this valley - Shane & I decided to BUILD!!! I swore I would never build a house since the idea of making that many decisions and being forced to compromise at all - just didn't sound that appealing to me! We had originally made an offer on this EXACT house - it was the model home for the contractor to start the subdivision. BUT...the realtor never presented our offer to him and we ended up withdrawing it & moving on. After two other offers and several more weeks of looking at houses, we decided that we still loved the overall plan/design of this first house and called up the contractor.

We've met with him once to modify the interior floor plans & make a few structural adjustments. Our next appointment is the color choice one to pick out all of the details --- so we spent part of this past weekend living it up at Home Depot and getting a more refined idea on what we wanted.

Honestly - I've been amazed at how similar our choices have been!!! You would NEVER think that a farmer from Star Valley & his city working wife would actually enjoy the same elements to their home!!! Guess that means it WAS destiny after all!!!
