This past weekend we had the most amazing time with our family - and even a reunion! My Dad's family all got together at my Aunt Lisa's house ... they came from Colorado, California, Oregon, Southern Utah & LOGAN!!! It was the first time my dads siblings have all been together in 14 years!!! Can you believe it?!?!? Its been only 2 years since me and all of my siblings have been together & hopefully we never get to 14 years! Here are some pictures from the event.
We also had a little gathering on my mom's side of the family. She flew out from South Carolina & surprised all of the grandkids with her visit. They LOVE their Gramma Darla time!!! Carter said to me last night ---- "I know Gramma Darla isn't old, but sometimes I get a little worried that she'll just be too crazy and have a heart attack!!!!"
HAHAHAH!!!
It took all of my inner strength to NOT laugh outloud & to show concern along with him.
On Easter Sunday - we had another mini-gathering at my Grandpa's house with the remnants from the party weekend. He's just finished up going through chemotherapy & is doing really really well. He has always been good spirited and I'm sure its helping him get through this latest trial.
I will post my huge long HOUSE SAGA later today probably... OH the drama!!!
